About Me

Susan resides in Roanoke, Virginia where she serves in ministry with her husband,

Sam, at Celebration Church. Serving in ministry with Sam is both a privilege and

an adventure that they enjoy taking together.

Susan’s heart is for women, but her greatest ministry passion is to serve women

in ministry. She founded Called 2 Ministry in 2017 with the purpose of

encouraging, equipping, and empowering women called to ministry.

Susan desires to raise up leaders, build alliances, and advance God’s Kingdom, and

she does this both inside and outside the walls of her church. Susan has traveled

and ministered internationally.

Susan is also the author of Healing the Hurts of Ministry: 7 Strategies for Moving

Forward.

Prior to serving in full-time ministry, Susan worked in the fields of Human

Resources, Training and Development, and various management roles. She earned

a Bachelor’s degree from Lee University and a Master’s degree in Education and

Human Development from The George Washington University. Susan is also a

certified Life Coach and a credentialed minister.

Outside of ministry, some of Susan’s favorite things include spending time with

her family (especially her 4 grands), drinking herbal tea, bike riding, walking on

the beach, and traveling.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

"As I was reading 40 Conversations With God That Will Change Your Life, I was

taken on a journey with the Lord that was fresh and new. Susan's approach to

hearing the voice of God is truly inspiring. It challenged me to reevaluate my

personal time with God.  Susan unveils a new revelation from the Lord with each

conversation. I will honestly change my quiet time with God to reflect what I have

learned from the book!"

Through the devotional, Susan invites us into a conversation with her -- and with

God. In sharing scripture and God's words to her, she is transparent and honest.

We learn of her struggles and challenges and get to hear God speaking to her.

This gives an opportunity to ask, "How am I doing in this area? What do I need to

say to God about my life?"

Pastor Susan is a woman of faith, integrity, and has a genuine love for people. I

love her book and I believe you will too! Inside, you can begin your own journey

of hearing God's voice leading you, and directing your life. It is a great tool to

walk you through the process of building intimacy with God, and to hear His voice

clearly leading and guiding you. You will fall in love with God all over again as you

hear Him speak so sweetly to you.
